am watching the germany argentina match. damn exciting can??? this kind of match cannot watch at home lah... what am i doing at home?????????? heee.

anywayz... cos i'm still unemployed mah.. so i got alot of time on my hands lor... so yday.... i tried out 2 recipes!!!! As i don't have an oven at home... all are no-bake recipes. hehehe. First on the list, something VERY easy to do. Actually both are VERY easy to do... haha. :P

Oreo Cookies Ice-Cream Pie

Crust: 1 stick melted unsalted butter (1 stick is abt 125g if im not wrong)
1 packet of Oreo cookies (Crush them into fine chunks)

Fillings: More Oreo cookies (crush into slightly thick chunks)
Cookies and Creme ice-cream
Hershey's chocolate fudge

Method: 1st mix melted butter with fine oreo cookie chunks in a bowl. Make sure they are sticky.
Next, lay them into a shallow bowl which is greased with a little butter.
Mould the cookie mixture into a pie base.
Refrigerate for 30mins - 1 hour.
Meanwhile, mix slightly soften ice-cream with chunks of Oreo Ice Cream.
You may also add some fudge into the ice-cream mixture.
Scoop the ice-cream mixture into the pie base.
Make sure the entire pie is evenly coated with the ice-cream.
Add a thick layer of chocolate fudge all over the ice-cream filling.
Freeze the pie for 1-2 hours.
Cut the pie and serve!

But it tastes good! Actually hor, u can see that hor, i don't have to do much lah. Just make the base only. then i very very very sotong can.. (what's new right)... i bought a 250 gm piece of butter... and i dunno what i was thinking... i kept thinking 125 gm of butter is one quarter of 250 gm and so i cut a quarter of the piece of butter i got and used it. only realised after i finished the whole thing....

and i couldn't find Cookies and Creme icecream..... the NTUC at my house damn pathetic can? The only one i could find is the stupid Walls ice-cream which comes in 2 flavours, half chocolate half cookies and creme. so u see my pie got 2 different colours lor. I added the Cookies and Creme ice-cream first b4 i add the chocolate.. to create the layer look.

Didn't add the fudge as in the recipe cos i was too stingy to go and buy :P

so taa-daah!!!

i mentioned i tried 2 recipes right? the other one's even easier to make than this. But the ingredients harder to find. and it's not ready yet, need to refrigerate it overnight... so i haven take any pictures.
